Em nova faixa, Eminem manda "um aviso" a Mariah Carey

Pode-se dizer que Eminem pagou Mariah Carey com a mesma moeda: em sua nova música, "The Warning", que caiu na rede nesta sexta, 31, o rapper responde ao vídeo "Obsessed", no qual Carey encarna três personagens masculinos - um deles, não por coincidência, é a cara de Eminem. A faixa, em português, significa "obcecado": uma alusão à suposta obsessão que ele nutre por Carey, com quem afirma ter tido um caso em 2001, sete anos antes de ela casar com o atual marido, o rapper e ator Nick Cannon. A artista é categórica: nunca rolou. Escute "The Warning" no vídeo abaixo:

O rapper de Detroit, EUA, é direto - por quase três minutos e meio, cita Carey e o novo marido várias vezes. Ele reserva ao casal uma avalanche de impropérios, como nos seguintes versos: "wow Mariah, didn't expect ya to go balls out/ Bitch, shut the f*ck up before I put all those phone calls out/ When you was wilding out/ Before Nick, when you was on my dick". Em português, vai mais ou menos por aí: "wow, Mariah, não achava que você teria colhões/ Vaca, cala a porra da boca antes que eu comece a fazer aqueles telefonemas/ Enquanto você estava sendo selvagem/ Antes de Nick, quando você estava no meu pau".

Em seu Twitter, a cantora afirmou que "Obsessed" não se endereçava a alguém específico. "Eu NÃO estou interpretando nenhuma pessoa específica em nenhum ponto do vídeo. Estou vestida como um 'perseguidor' em três diferentes vestuários."

Há quem enxergue jogada de marketing no bate-boca público dos dois. Eminem lançou, há três meses, Relapse, álbum que foi direto para o topo da parada da revista Billboard. Carey, por sua vez, lançará em 25 de agosto Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.
