MD Chefe é indicado no BET Awards como Melhor Artista Revelação Internacional

MD Chefe entrou na disputa pelo prêmio de Artista Revelação Internacional do BET Awards 2022. No ano anterior, MC Dricka concorreu na mesma categoria. 

O rapper foi o único brasileiro indicado à categoria que celebra a excelência negra na música, concorrendo com nomes como Ayra Starr, Cleo Sol e Young Stunna.

O artista começou a carreira nas batalhas de rima do Rio de Janeiro e alcançou fama nacional com músicas sobre elegância, sofisticação e empoderamento, emplacando o single “Rei Lacoste”, uma parceria com DomLaike que acumula 73M de visualizações no YouTube e 54M de streams no Spotify.

Além de MD Chefe, Ludmilla também representa o Brasil na premiação deste ano, concorrendo pela estatueta de Melhor Artista Internacional. O prêmio conta com outras 19 categorias, nas quais Doja Cat domina, com seis indicações.

A premiação é voltada para reconhecer artistas afro-americanos da música, atuação, esporte e outras áreas do entretenimento. O BET Awards acontece no dia 26 de junho 2022, diretamente de Los Angeles, Estados Unidos.
