Os 25 discos favoritos de David Bowie: de The Velvet Underground a Syd Barrett

Em 2003, David Bowie decidiu vasculhar a coleção de 2.500 discos de vinil em uma entrevista à Vanity Fair, para escolher quais eram os favoritos dele, segundo a Far Out Magazine.

Ao fazer isso, Bowie conseguiu nomear os 25 melhores discos de todos os tempos. Entre a lista destacam-se Robert Wyatt, John Lee Hooker, Toots & The Maytals, The Fugs e mais. 

“Não há realmente nenhuma maneira de fazer uma lista dos meus álbuns favoritos com alguma racionalidade. Tenho cerca de 2.500 discos de vinil”, disse.

“Vou dar uma olhada nos álbuns e reunir uma lista daqueles que recomprei ou estou em processo de recomprar. Tenho pouco tempo e há muitos para escolher. Então, continuarei retirando as coisas às cegas e, se for óbvio demais como Beatles e Nirvana, colocarei de volta novamente até encontrar algo mais interessante”, completou. 

Ele acrescentou: “Portanto, sem cronologia, gênero ou razão, com isto, em nenhuma ordem específica, 25 álbuns que podem mudar sua reputação.”
